Ladoos are one of the most well-loved of all Indian sweets. On the occasion of Diwali, ladoo is of special significance, since it is considered auspicious to offer ladoo to Lord Ganesha at the Lakshmi-Ganesh Poojan. There are various types of ladoo, but the most well-loved and popular type is the ‘Besan Ka Ladoo’.
Ingredients
# 2 cups sugar
# 1 tsp Powdered Cardamom
# 1/2 cup chopped Almonds and Raisins
# 4 cups Gram Flour
# 1 cup Pure Ghee
Directions
1) Heat the ghee in a pan.
2) Add the flour and fry it on a low flame, stirring continuously until brown.
3) Let it cool.
4) Add powdered cardamom and sugar. Mix well.
5) Add chopped almonds and raisins.
6) Shape into ladoos and serve.
