For the lover of dairy products, Channar Payesh is a mouthwatering delight. It's comprised of condensed milk, nuts and raisins, and tastes the best when it is served chilled.
Ingredients
# 1 cup Water
# 2 tablespoons Nuts
# 2 tablespoons Raisins
# 1/2 litre Milk
# 1 Tin condensed milk
# 2 tablespoons Sugar
Directions
1) Mix the sugar and water to make a thin syrup. Put the chenna (cottage cheese) in a bowl, and add the hot syrup into it, blending it thoroughly.
2) Boil the milk in a deep bottomed pan.
3) Add the condensed milk. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Cool until just warm.
4) Add the milk mixture into the channa, one spoon at a time.
5) Mix vigorously to form a homogenous mixture. Do this until all the milk is used up.
6) Pour into a bowl.
